We’re here to make sure anyone with a mental health problem in the Sevenoaks, Tonbridge & Malling and Tunbridge Wells districts in West Kent has somewhere to turn for advice and support.

We understand that managing a mental health problem can be worrying and isolating, so we offer clear and practical support that everyone can access. Our experienced team offers a range of services from counselling and hands on activities such as gardening and music groups, to specialised support programmes and mental health workshops and training courses for individuals and workplaces, all designed to help put coping strategies into practice for everyday life.

Live Well Kent and Medway provides free mental health support for people aged 17+. Whatever it is, we’re here to help you.

  • Improve your mental health, physical health and general wellbeing
  • Gain confidence and meet new people
  • Access free therapy and counselling services
  • Find work, volunteering and education opportunities
  • Access support for drug or alcohol dependency
  • Join activities and support groups run by people with similar experiences.   

You can refer yourself, refer someone else or ask somebody to refer you to us for help.  You can then choose to have support in person, online or over the phone. Our team will take time to understand your situation and help you access the right local support for you. They won’t judge you and are committed to your privacy.

The Hub is our friendly vibrant wellbeing centre, located in central Tunbridge Wells and is open to all adults with emotional or mental health needs. The Hub offers a safe space to talk and various wellbeing activities, which are all completely free to access and designed to boost confidence & self–esteem. Last year, our trained and supportive staff helped 193 people through providing 1-2-1 support and wellbeing activities, including:

  • Art groups
  • Craft groups
  • Creative writing
  • An allotment group
  • Men's and Women's Talking groups
  • Walking groups

How can the Hub help me?

If you want some help to improve your mental health and emotional wellbeing, you can access any of our wellbeing activities or simply visit us for a chat. Our team will help you develop a tailored progress plan and we often use the 6 ways to wellbeing to promote and help people improve their mental wellbeing.

Most importantly we recognise the value of friendship and peer support. Many of our groups are led by clients or volunteers who also live with mental health conditions.
